NEW EXPERIENCE ANNOUNCEMENT

Dash Studio Presents “Reflections” at Pullman Yards: New Artist Commissions Debut Alongside Atlanta Art Fair and Luna Luna
Three newly commissioned works by Jackson Marcovic, Victoria Dugger, and Barry Lee anchor the return of the acclaimed immersive installation
ATLANTA, GA – September 25, 2025 – Dash Studio is proud to announce the return of Reflections, the acclaimed immersive art experience, to Pullman Yards this fall. Presented in celebration of Pride Month and coinciding with the Atlanta Art Fair and the Atlanta premiere of Luna Luna, this newest chapter of
the project will be on view from September 25 – November 2, 2025, bringing renewed cultural visibility to a beloved installation and debuting three brand-new artist commissions. This newest chapter of Reflections continues the project’s mission to use large-scale immersive art as a platform for health, equity, and inclusivity, creating spaces where underrepresented voices are amplified and communities can gather in care.
Audiences are invited to step inside three monumental kaleidoscopes—architectural-scale structures housing newly commissioned digital artworks—each offering a distinct meditation on care, community, and resilience. Together, the works illuminate themes central to Pride: visibility, inclusivity, and the affirmation of lived experience.
“As a curator, I’m especially moved by how these artists channel have responded to our prompt with work that insists on being seen and felt,” said Coco Conroy, Curatorial Director at Dash Studio. “Each piece highlights care, community, and resilience in a different way—from the dance floor as a site of healing, to flowers reclaiming visibility for marginalized bodies, to the rhythms of recovery from Long COVID. Together, they embody the radical inclusivity that makes Pride more than a celebration—it’s a cultural necessity.”
Featured Artists and Works
• Jackson Marcovic’s Ode to the gay bar where I got an HIV test (2025) is a chaotic, psychedelic video composition that stitches together iPhone footage of Atlanta clubs, ballroom gatherings, and underground performances with staged scenes of friends dancing. The work honors nightlife as a site of care and public health while celebrating queer community through dirt, glitter, and joy. Shown during Pride, it underscores the role of LGBTQ+ spaces as essential centers of resilience, intimacy, and collective healing. In addition to his kaleidoscopic commission, Marcovic’s Baroque Sunbursts will be featured concurrently at the Atlanta Art Fair at Pullman Yards (presented by Hawkins Headquarters).
• Victoria Dugger’s In Full Bloom (2025) reflects on the absence—and necessity—of inclusive representation in healthcare and medical research. Tender yet unruly flowers bloom within a vessel that is both protective and confining, evoking systems of care not always built for marginalized bodies. As a disabled Black woman, Dugger calls for expansiveness and compassion, reclaiming visibility in spaces where difference is too often overlooked—an affirmation of Pride’s ongoing insistence that all bodies be seen and celebrated. Her work can also be seen this season in a solo exhibition at the Hudgens Center for Art & Learning.
• Barry Lee’s Disruption (2025), created while recovering from Long COVID, presents a meditation on the interruption of daily rhythms. Through recurring imagery of the sun, moon, and shifting horizons, the piece visualizes the blurred experience of illness while acknowledging the crucial role of clinical trials in understanding and alleviating long-term effects. Lee’s work resonates within the spirit of Pride by giving voice to personal struggle and collective perseverance, insisting on care, dignity, and representation for those navigating invisible conditions.
